Key Painting

I saw this antique key and imagined that it would be an awesome subject.  I had the 6 x 6 inch canvases and came up with this.  I love the red background.  This is available for purchase.  If you are interested in this painting, the other posted paintings or if have a subject you love to see on canvas, contact me at Creativecanvas61@yahoo.com!

Monday thoughts

After spending the weekend in New Orleans and taking some time for a couple of galleries while there, I am feeling inspired.  On Saturday, I spent some time with works by such famous artists as Andy Warhol, Marc Chagall, Rembrandt and my favorites were the Salvadore Dali pieces.  I was completely in awe of the art that was before me, it was difficult to pull myself away.  So appreciative of the opportunity to view such art!

Watercolor

I wanted to try watercolors, this painting reminds me of wild mountain roses.
