Catch-up(not the kind you put on hot dogs)

Hello to everyone, my long term friends and now to some of the new visitors.  Over the past year as I have dealt with my chemo treatments, my creativity has been difficult as times to get it on canvas and drawings on paper.  I am so pleased with each painting or drawings as they each are complete.  Truly my art has and will continue to be my therapy.  Ok, I'm sure you've heard enough.  I really want to share some of my art with you.  Any that you are interested in and would like the price of a piece or changes in colors, size, etc., just send me an email at Creativecanvas61@yahoo.com.

Updating some paintings

Its been awhile since I have had my usual and well loved creative time.  It is very interesting now to actually see the differences in my art before and since my brain tumor surgery in June, 2011.  Notice the beautiful peaceful trees from previous post and the very happy and fun trees I have painted since short time after my surgery.  I certainly enjoyed creating both pieces. 

Update day of creativity!!

Good morning, the past 3 months have been a little consuming with my health issues, although I have used my creativity as my therapy. God has blessed me by keeping me strong.  I have completed some drawings(graphite pencil) along with some acrylic paintings.  I would love to share a few of these.  I plan to exhibit at the "Arts & Music on the Green" at Ross Bridge on 10/8/11.  I was excited to receive notice from them yesterday that after reviewing a few of my art pieces I have been accepted as an artist at their event.  Please enjoy viewing some of the pieces I'm posting and feel free to comment if you would like.  Thanks!!

Drawing of trumpet, I love musical instruments(even if I have absolutely no musical talent). How amazing that someone sculpted this piece of metal to create beautiful music.  This is 12 x 14 pencil drawing,
